Last year the head of the world’s most costly workplace was England’s capital West End with its London serviced offices.

The West End London office space which
lead the table in 2009 decreased as a result of second place in 2010. Occupancy price per workstation of $20,160 was up 4% from the year earlier.
But also in Hong Kong’s Central and Admiralty areas, the yearly occupancy cost per workstation surged up from $17,050 by 31%, the steepest increase in the survey for 2010.
Geneva
ranked third last year.
The survey
evaluated office space tenancy in 47 countries across the world, making an allowance for rent, maintenance costs, property taxes and additional factors.
Causes of Hong Kong overpowering London office rental prices are supposedly influenced by rising prime rents on the back of wholesome desire and a shortage of space.
Hong Kong’s
costs per work place are said to rise more by 2015, leaving a huge gap between occupancy costs between your Asian city and others.
If anything, this research reinforces the huge costs related to prestigious central locations, and also the difficulties that start-ups and small businesses encounter when trying to establish in these notable areas.
